Willie Nelson concert
The Black Jacket Symphony performance was somewhat satisfactory given his recent recovery from the flu and his age. He mostly chatted instead of singing during most of the songs. The show felt hurried as he smoothly transitioned from one song to the next without pause. As the hour came to a close, he was assisted off the stage and that marked the end of the concert. The preceding acts before Black Jacket Symphony were enjoyable to either hear or watch. The venue's setup was subpar. Upon entering, the personnel handling tickets lacked identification and tore off the barcode without thorough checks. Attendees were granted access to the enclosed area without any security screenings for weapons or prohibited items. Despite the presence of law enforcement vehicles, only a few were inside the "venue" while the others were managing traffic and parking. Parking at the nearby high school was preferable as the alternative lot was a tight dirt/grass space with limited room between vehicles. The ground surface within the fenced area was covered in rough wood mulch, making it challenging to move around, especially in flat shoes. Those with upgraded seating had to make do with flimsy plastic chairs placed on the mulch. The limited number of Port-A-Potties caused long wait times due to the crowd size, which was inadequate planning for the event's duration. Given these circumstances, it is unlikely that we would consider attending another event at this venue.
